𝓝𝓸 𝓗𝓾𝓶𝓪𝓷 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷

These walls have been so loyal to me.
They keep all my secrets.
They show up to every encounter and still wouldn’t speak.

I can always be me.
No need to hide behind who I really am and what I do.
These walls keep me in their arms.

When I feel like I need fresh air, I just open the curtains and I feel complete.
Because, behind there’s walls there are no judgmental slurs to endure.

I wish I could say I prefer any other companionship, I don’t.
When it’s just me and these walls, there are no shades cast on my name…

It’s already dark in here.
I don’t need human interaction to help me feel that way.
