Iced Out

My heart doesn’t beat the way it used to.

It’s been corrupted in motion.

My devotion to others is on temporary suspension.

I’m searching for ways to fit it.

Fought tirelessly not to lose my grip.

I still did…

My passion is slowly dwindling.

Mistakes on high and I’m numb.

I’ve lost the ability to cry.

My veins don’t carry blood anymore.

It’s been dry.

Your attempts to improve me have all been in vain.

I’m iced out and it might not be temporary.
