Take your Mask off

I have an idea…
Take your mask off when you speak to me.

I need to see your eyes.
The face expressions and the lines on your forehead when you tell me lies.

I don’t have time for the games.
I need to rid you of your disguise.

I’m tired of second guessing myself.
Tearing down walls to let you in because you couldn’t show me who you really were.

I’m tired of being lonely.
But I’m worth way more than a hand to hold.

I need to see you clearly
But I can’t see who you don’t show me.

Take your mask off when you speak to me.
I show you my truth.

Now let me see you.
